class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nightfall brings a cleaner, more customisable download-management experience designed to go beyond Chrome\u2019s default downloads page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here\u2019s a breakdown of the latest updates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What\u2019s new?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A cleaner downloads dashboard<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Refined card-based download layout<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improved spacing, contrast, and visual hierarchy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clearer download status indicators<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Better handling of completed, interrupted, and in-progress downloads<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Updated extension icon package for improved toolbar visibility<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Light, dark, and system themes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Choose between:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Light mode<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dark mode<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow system preference<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dark-mode contrast has also been improved across buttons, dialogs, settings, and the welcome page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Customise your action buttons<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Choose how download actions appear:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Icon + label<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Icon only<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Label only<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This lets you keep the interface compact or make each action more descriptive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Improved date and time controls<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can now choose how timestamps are displayed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Exact date and time<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Date only<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Time only<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Relative time<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hidden<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Safer history management<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Removing a download from history now leaves a clear visual record:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The filename is struck through<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The file icon is muted<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The status changes to \u201cRemoved from history\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>File actions are disabled<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The removed state remains until visible history is cleared<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Confirmation dialogs are also available before removing individual downloads or clearing history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New keyboard shortcut and context-menu access<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My Downloads can now be opened using the default shortcut:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>Ctrl+Shift+Y<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The shortcut can be changed through Chrome\u2019s extension shortcut settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A new right-click menu option, <strong>Open My Downloads<\/strong>, is also available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Improved welcome experience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The updated welcome page now lets you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Jump straight into your downloads<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open preferences immediately<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learn about the main features<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access release notes and privacy information<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Configure your keyboard shortcut<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Improved lifecycle and feedback handling<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nightfall includes improved install, update, and uninstall handling, including tokenised uninstall feedback support through the shared feedback system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Localised interface<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The interface now includes complete translations for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul Chinese<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Built with privacy in mind<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My Downloads only requests the permissions needed to manage download history, store preferences, provide the context-menu shortcut, and open the extension\u2019s own feedback and update pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No browsing history or website content is collected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thank you for using My Downloads Extension.
