Download Hub – New Interface

If you recently visited our Download Hub website, you probably noticed the new design. We’re rather excited about the new design – and it comes with several improvements and features. The new design is much more modern and friendly.

So, what’s new?

  • It’s been designed with mobiles and tablets in mind
  • We’ve added a cool maintenance feature which will allow us to take the site offline for a short time safety
  • Cleaner fonts, colours and retina ready
  • We’ve used the updated framework (3.x)
  • We added a content delivery network (CDN) with caching for faster, better loading!

Bugs, Ideas & feedback
With this new website and design we’re aware you may run into a few bugs such as broken links from old posts and websites and our Chrome Extensions (these will be updated within the next few weeks). We’ve kept as many links as possible the same, but if you find any bugs please report them via the official bug tracking system. We love feedback from everyone! Our New Interface – in Your Face!

Blog

Official Blog v3 – This post follows up from our previous announcement* of our major Chrome update which is available for free.

If you’ve visited our blog today to find the latest technology news, you probably noticed the facelift! We’re excited to introduce our blogs new look which has been re-imagined, re-designed and re-engineered from the ground up. It’s been a while since our last design and we feel it’s long overdue. The new design is more modern and friendly.

We strive to provide the very best for both our visitors and potential visitors out there surfing the web for the latest news. That’s why we’ve redesigned and relaunched our web presence. Our older design wasn’t the easiest to navigate, a little out-dated and not mobile ready, so we’ve made a few renovations to make life easier for you.

Our blog is on its third iteration in three years. Two versions ago, the site was a set of static pages hard-core-coded HTML files. It demonstrated that we as company were growing and expanding our news coverage. The second user-interface, which was in operation until Today (23rd April 2014), was a little better. It incorporated a CMS which was easier to update and manage with powerful tools and features.

So, what’s new in v3?

  • It’s now built on three strong frameworks
  • Redesigned and now mobile friendly
  • Better fonts, colours and is now retina ready
  • We’re now using a content delivery network (CDN) with caching for faster, shaper loading

Bugs, Ideas & feedback
If you find any bugs in our new theme please report them via the official bug tracking system. We love feedback from everyone! We will continue to make changes over the next couple of weeks and listen to your feedback.

Thanks for stopping by, we hope you enjoy the new design!

As always Chrome does a good job of updating your extensions automatically, but it checks for updates on its own schedule – around every two hours or if you relaunch Chrome. If you know that a new version of an extension is out but Chrome hasn’t updated it yet, here’s how to do it manually.

JordanTBH Blog Extension

JordanTBH Blog Extension © JordanTBH Technologies

We are pleased to announce version three of the JordanTBH Blog Extension for the Google Chrome web browser. Which was last updated on August 6, 2012.

Over the past two years we (“the developers”) have been getting a lot of questions regarding updates for this extension, we’ve always said “yes” there will be updates but never been able to provide customers with an ETA due to focusing on our other new products including the IP Address Tool, NotePad+, My Downloads and SwagBucks Newtab.

Today, we published version 3.0 to the Google Chrome webstore. It’s been completely redesigned and built on a completely different framework and will now update in the background with your other Chrome Extensions. We think it’s great.

What’s new in v3.0?

  • New Framework
  • Redesigned from the ground up (see the previous version design in screenshots which can be found here and here)
  • Options page has been completely changed (see here for the previous version)
  • All updates are now fully automatic
  • You will now see a message after saving preferences
  • Desktop notifications now uses Chrome’s new notification center tray

Download Options
You can download the extension via the Google Chrome Web Store – It’s free.

Bugs, Ideas, feedback and more
If you find any bugs in this update as always please report them via the official system – We would really appreciate it!
