Today, we released our first update for IP Address Tool (v0.0.1.1127) for the Google Chrome web browser. Which is available to download right now free of charge. This update is now available with French language supported, it adds one more language – making a total of five (5) supported languages to-date.
Although we haven’t announced IP Address Tool on our developers blog (but the post was written up – It’s now live here), it’s been available on the Google Chrome webstore since 2013/09/15 and has been downloaded by over 5,000 Chrome users.

Time Saver
On average it takes about 4.9 – 7.5 seconds to open a new tab (Chrome) and search “IP” or “My IP” to find out your current IP address. This will take even longer if your search engine isn’t set to Google search and if you use the address bar (sometimes called the “omnibox”) as the search box or not. *

The IP Address Tool is available right now for Windows & Mac at no charge on the Google Chrome Web Store worldwide. Currently, not supported on Chrome for iOS or Android.

Same as before – Chrome does a good job of updating your extensions automatically, but it checks for updates on its own schedule – around every two hours or if you relaunch Chrome. If you know that a new version of an extension is out but Chrome hasn’t updated it yet, here’s how to do it manually.
