We’re always continuing to improve our products and services and today is no exception. We just published an update to our JordanTBH Blog Extension which delivers a few bug fixes and improvements.

Release Notes

  • We’ve added short name support. The short name is typically used where there is insufficient space to display the full name, such as the App launcher and the New Tab page.
  • Fixed the ‘Chrome Extensions’ link in the footer which become broken due to the Download Hub revamp on the 09/6/14.
  • Home is now set to blog.jordantbh.me
  • Icon improvements

Download Options
You can download the extension via the Google Chrome Web Store as always it’s free.

Tip: Although Google Chrome does a good job of updating your extensions automatically, but it checks for updates on its own schedule – around every two hours or if you relaunch Chrome. If you know that a new version of an extension is out but Chrome hasn’t updated it yet, here’s how to do it manually.

If you recently visited our Download Hub website, you probably noticed the new design. We’re rather excited about the new design – and it comes with several improvements and features. The new design is much more modern and friendly.

So, what’s new?

  • It’s been designed with mobiles and tablets in mind
  • We’ve added a cool maintenance feature which will allow us to take the site offline for a short time safety
  • Cleaner fonts, colours and retina ready
  • We’ve used the updated framework (3.x)
  • We added a content delivery network (CDN) with caching for faster, better loading!

Bugs, Ideas & feedback
With this new website and design we’re aware you may run into a few bugs such as broken links from old posts and websites and our Chrome Extensions (these will be updated within the next few weeks). We’ve kept as many links as possible the same, but if you find any bugs please report them via the official bug tracking system. We love feedback from everyone! We will continue to make changes over the next couple of months we always take your feedback on board.

JordanTBH Blog Extension – Update for Chrome

We are pleased to announce version three of the JordanTBH Blog Extension for the Google Chrome web browser. Which was last updated on August 6, 2012.

Over the past two years we (“the developers”) have been getting a lot of questions regarding updates for this extension, we’ve always said “yes” there will be updates but never been able to provide customers with an ETA due to focusing on our other new products including the IP Address Tool, NotePad+, My Downloads and SwagBucks Newtab.

Today, we published version 3.0 to the Google Chrome webstore. It’s been completely redesigned and built on a completely different framework and will now update in the background with your other Chrome Extensions. We think it’s great.

What’s new in v3.0?

  • New Framework
  • Redesigned from the ground up (see the previous version design in screenshots which can be found here and here)
  • Options page has been completely changed (see here for the previous version)
  • All updates are now fully automatic
  • You will now see a message after saving preferences
  • Desktop notifications now uses Chrome’s new notification center tray

Download Options
You can download the extension via the Google Chrome Web Store – It’s free.
